Flare compensation mode
If a lens flare is undesirable, move the cursor to "PEAK MODE" and use right or left button to
select "ON".
ON:
Performs flare compensation.
OFF (default):
Does not perform flare compensation.
3. Electronic shutter setting [SHUTTER]
The variation in electronic shutter speed allows users to perform the following.
• Increased speed prevents defocusing fast-moving subjects.
• If flicker is observed under fluorescent lighting of 50 Hz, selection of "1/100" for the speed
can reduce flicker.
The electronic shutter speed is selectable from the following:
OFF (1/60) (default), 1/120, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1 000, 1/2 000, 1/4 000, and 1/10 000
Notes:
• When "ALC/ELC" is set to "ELC" or "ALC+" (
☞
page 25), the shutter setting cannot be per-
formed. "OFF (1/60)" is automatically selected.
• If the controller, WV-CU254 or WV-CU204 is used, SW LED and the status of "SHUTTER"
are not correctly displayed.
