The cropping function can be used only when “2 mega pixel [16:9]”, “1.3 mega pixel [16:9]”, or “1.3
mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”.
1.4 Monitor picture in picture images
By using the picture in picture function, a cropping image or an alarm image can be added to an image and
transmitted.
The picture in picture function must be configured before it can be used. (

When the picture in picture function is used, combined JPEG and H.264 images with the following image
capture sizes are transmitted.
•
When “2 mega pixel [16:9]” is selected for “Image capture mode”: 1920x1080
•
When “1.3 mega pixel [16:9]” is selected for “Image capture mode”: 1280x720
•
When “1.3 mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”: 1280x960
Note

The picture in picture function can only be used when “2 mega pixel [16:9]”, “1.3 mega pixel [16:9]”, or
“1.3 mega pixel [4:3]” is selected for “Image capture mode”.
The type of images to be combined can be selected from “Picture in picture mode” on the [PiP] tab
(
®
page 134).
When “Live” is selected in “Picture in picture mode”, a predetermined area is combined as a sub image and
transmitted.
