Chapter 1 Basic Menu Features
Proof Copying
When making more than one copy, the first copy can be printed as a proof copy.
After confirming its quality, the remaining copies can be printed.

Place original(s).

Operations) of provided booklet.

Press the
Copy
key if set in other
function mode.

Select the copy features if necessary.

Enter the desired number of copies.

Select “
Proof Set
”.

Press the
Start
key.
The first copy is printed, and a confirmation
screen appears.

If the copy quality is satisfactory,
select “
Yes
”.
The remaining copies are printed.
If the copy quality is not satisfactory.

Select “
No
” to return to the Basic Menu
screen.

Place the original again.

Adjust the quality settings.

Press the
Start
key.
A proof copy is printed, and a confirmation
screen appears. Confirm if the copy quality is
acceptable.

Select “
Yes
”.
The remaining copies are printed.
