No sound is produced
Is “Sound Mute” active? (p. 17)

Sound signal reception may be deteriorated.
Set “MPX” (p. 30) in the Sound Menu to “Mono”.

Unusual sound from the
display unit
When power is on, drive noise may be heard from inside the
display unit. This is not a sign of faulty operation.

Sound is unusual
Set the sound setting of the connected equipment to “2ch L.PCM”.
Check the “HDMI1 / 4 Input” setting in the Sound Menu. (p. 31)

are unusual when the equipment

Check “Digital TV Signal Condition”. (p. 38)
If “Signal Quality” or “Signal Strength” are displayed in red, check
aerial.
If problem persists, consult your local Panasonic dealer.
Turn the TV off with the Mains power On / Off switch, then turn it
On again.
Remove the mains plug of the tuner box from the wall socket and
connect it again to turn it on.

TV goes into “Standby mode”
Off Timer function is activated.
The TV enters “Standby mode” about 30 mins. after analogue
broadcasting ends.

The remote control does not
work or is intermittent

The batteries may be running low. Replace them.
Use the remote control within the range of 7 m from the tuner box.
Keep the remote control away from the devices such as wireless
LAN, microwaves, mobile phones or other electric equipment to
avoid wave interference.

Cannot operate the TV
Turn the display unit and the tuner box off, and then on again.
Check the transmission range of the wireless unit if you use it.
