Error Messages
There are various situations that could result in the printing of error message journals in this apparatus. This
happens when the apparatus detects incompatibility of characters, wrong file formats and memory overflow.
The following conditions are to be noted.

Advice
[The attached files cannot be
printed out by I-FAX.
The attached files have been
deleted from server, please contact
sender if necessary]
Emails with unrecognised file
format, e.g. Word, Excel etc.
i-FAX only recognises TIFF files.
Message receives when ‘DEL POP
ERR MSG’ is turned ‘ON’. The
attached files are deleted from
server. Inform sender to convert files
to TIFF format and transmit again
(See page 78). Another alternative is
to ask sender to transmit again and
retrieve them via a personal
computer.
[The attached files cannot be
printed out by I-FAX]
Message receives when ‘DEL POP
ERR MSG’ is turned ‘OFF’. The
attached files are stored in server.
Retrieve them using a personal
computer.
[All attached files cannot be printed
out due to memory overflow.
As the attached files have been
deleted from server, please contact
sender if necessary]
Memory Overflow
(during receiving a message)
Message receives when ‘DEL POP
ERR MSG’ is turned ‘ON’. The
attached files have been deleted
from server.

attached files are stored in server.
Receive it via a personal computer.
