Confirm that the Setup has been carried out properly. (Set up code of Cable Box or DSS Receiver) If not, carry out the Setup properly.
In rare cases: Power Supply C.B.A. may be defective.
Check conductivity of line between P1501 connector and P1505 (SERIAL CONTROL PORT on Power Supply C.B.A. (There are some 100 ohm resistors. (R1501, R1502, etc.)) Repair or replace as necessary.
In rare cases: Main C.B.A. is defective.
Check conductivity of line between Pin 1 of IC6351 and Pin 8 of P6502 on Main C.B.A. (There is a 100 ohm resistors. (R6516)) Repair or replace as necessary.
Confirm that the Serial Cable is securely connected to the external devices(Cable Box or DSS Receiver) If not, connect it securely.
Symptoms Possible Solution

Menu." Then, confirm that the
displayed time on the TV monitor
is the correct time as shown
below. HDR Main C.B.A. is defective.

Turn off the unit power, unplug
the AC Power Plug, wait approx.
one minute, then plug in the AC
Power Plug and turn on the unit
again by pressing the Power
button on the unit or remote
control. Wait until the connection is
complete.
