Turn off the unit power, unplug the AC Power Plug, wait approx.
one minute, then plug in the AC Power Plug.
After the unit is turned on, HDR
circuit does not start up properly.
When the unit works properly, the
screen selected before turning off
the unit is displayed on the TV
monitor as follows.
Confirm that the spinning sound can be heard from the
HDD after the AC Power Plug is plugged in.
Turn on the unit by pressing the POWER button on the unit
or remote control.
HDD may be defective. Replace HDD.
In rare cases: Power Supply C.B.A. is defective.
Check UNSW HDD+12V and UNSW HDD+5V lines on Power Supply
C.B.A. Repair as necessary.
Main C.B.A. is defective. Repair Main C.B.A.

Repair or replace necessary.

Confirm that the connector cable between P3002 on

Note: Before doing troubleshooting:
1. Confirm that a signal is being output from the input sources (Cable Box, DSS Receiver, or Antenna) and that the input sources are properly and securely connected to the unit.
2. If using the IR Blaster, confirm that the IR Blaster is properly affixed to the external devices (Cable Box, DSS Receiver, etc.) for CH control.
3. If using the Serial Cable, confirm that the Serial Cable is properly affixed to the external devices (Cable Box, DSS Receiver, etc.) for CH control.
4. Confirm that the QuickSetup is properly completed.
5. Confirm that all existing connector cables in the unit are properly and securely connected to the correct connectors on the unit.
