7.2.13. FOCUS ADJUSTMENT
Note:
Be sure to perform this adjustment after SUB CONTRAST
ADJUSTMENT and SUB BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT are completed.
Purpose:
To set the optimum Focus.
Symptom of Misadjustment:
The picture is out of Focus.
Test Point :
TP551, TP552 (TV Main C.B.A.)
Adjustment :
FOCUS CONTROL
(Flyback Transformer),
SUB BRIGHT (EVR)

1. Turn off the set and connect DVM between TP551 and TP552 on
the TV Main C.B.A.
2. Turn on the set.
Enter EVR adjustment mode refer to "
HOW TO ENTER EVR
ADJUSTMENT MODE
."
3. Supply a Monoscope Pattern Signal to the Video Input Jack.
4. Select SUB BRIGHT in EVR adjustment mode and adjust so that
the voltage is 1.5 VDC±0.1 VDC (For mode with 20 inch CRT) or
1.7 VDC±0.1 VDC (For mode with 27 inch CRT).
