[FRAME SYNC SETTING]
Set if the frames are to be synchronized between the multiple projectors.
Frames of the projected images can be synchronized by linking multiple projectors using the <FRAME SYNC 1
IN/OUT> terminal and the <FRAME SYNC 2 OUT> terminal. A combined screen with a balanced contrast can
be displayed by sharing the brightness level of the video signal input to each projector when a multi-display is
constructed by linking the projected images of multiple projectors.
For details of how to connect the projectors, refer to “Connection example when multiple projected images are to
be synchronized” (

page 55).

Set this item in all the projectors that are to be the synchronization target.

The usage of the <FRAME SYNC 1 IN/OUT> terminal and the <FRAME SYNC 2 OUT> terminal is
displayed in [FRAME SYNC1] and [FRAME SYNC2] in the
[FRAME SYNC SETTING]
screen.
The contents that are displayed are as follows.
[FRAME SYNC]
[FRAME SYNC1]
[FRAME SYNC2]
[MASTER]
[OUTPUT] is displayed.
The <FRAME SYNC 1 IN/OUT> terminal will
operate as an output terminal.
Connect to the <FRAME SYNC 1 IN/OUT>
terminal of the projector that is to be the
synchronization target.
[OUTPUT] is displayed.
The <FRAME SYNC 2 OUT> terminal will operate
as an output terminal.
Connect to the <FRAME SYNC 1 IN/OUT>
terminal of the projector that is to be the
synchronization target.
[SLAVE]
[INPUT] is displayed.
The <FRAME SYNC 1 IN/OUT> terminal will
operate as an input terminal.
[OUTPUT] is displayed.
The <FRAME SYNC 2 OUT> terminal will operate
as an output terminal.

Select this item when the contrast is not balanced in the combined screen.
[ON]
Select this item when the contrast is balanced in the combined screen.
The synchronization source projector with [FRAME SYNC] set to [MASTER] will calculate the
brightness level of the video signal to become optimum on the whole combined screen for every
frame. All the projectors targeted to link will control the dynamic contrast function based on the
calculation result.
