I) MAINTENANCE FOR THE BEATER BAR
H) BLOCKAGES
NOTE:
For ease of access to the hose end, remove the dust compartment. (See page 6)

Dust compartment inlet
If your cleaner stops picking up dust and the dust compartments are empty, a blockage may have occurred
in the hose, suction pipe inlet or in the dust compartment inlet. Remove any obstruction as indicated.
NOTE:
Use a blunt flexible stick to clear the obstruction.
Remove the hose from its
support.
Pass the hose through the hole. Remove the hose grip from the
suction pipe inlet and take it out.
Remove the obstruction and
re-install in the reverse order.
Remove the hose from the
suction pipe inlet.
Place the cleaner in the horizontal position, turn it
over and pass through the suction pipe inlet a blunt
flexible stick to clear the obstruction.
Remove the dust compartment
cover (see page 6) and remove
the obstruction as indicated.
CAUTION: Ensure the cleaner is DISCONNECTED from the mains supply
before any beater bar maintenance.
