RESIZE 2
This command allows you to reduce the picture’s size. This will make
a smaller file so you will be able to easily e-mail the file or post it to a
website.
Only JPEG pictures can be resized. The resulting picture quality may
deteriorate.
Note: This command does not work on pictures with a RAW/JPEG combi-
nation format or with TEXT STAMP information.

CROPPING 2
This command allows you to identify a portion of the picture to be copied
to a new file. Use the directional arrow buttons or the rear dial to identify
the borders of the picture you wish to keep as a separate file. The original
file is not affected.
Only JPEG pictures can be cropped. The resulting picture quality may
deteriorate.
Note: This command does not work on pictures with a RAW/JPEG combi-
nation format or with TEXT STAMP information.
SINGLE
Single pictures will be displayed. Select the specific picture you wish to
crop. Enlarge and position the picture as desired.
SINGLE IN BURST
GROUP
Up to six Burst Groups will be displayed at a time. Select the specific
Burst Group you wish to view. Scroll through the Burst Group’s individual
pictures and select the specific picture you wish to crop. Enlarge and
position the picture as desired.
ASPECT CONV. 2
This command allows you to convert a picture with an ASPECT RATIO of
16:9 to 4:3, 3:2, or 1:1.
Only JPEG pictures can have their ASPECT RATIO converted.
Note: This command does not work on pictures with a RAW/JPEG combi-
nation format or with TEXT STAMP information.
SINGLE
3:2 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [3:2].
4:3 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [4:3].
1:1 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [1:1].
SINGLE IN BURST
GROUP
3:2 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [3:2].
4:3 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [4:3].
1:1 Convert picture ASPECT RATIO to [1:1].
ROTATE 2
This command allows you to rotate a picture in 90-degrees increments
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Note: You cannot rotate videos or protected pictures. The ROTATE DISP.
command must be [ON].

ROTATE DISP. 2 This command allows the display of pictures to be automatically rotated.
OFF Disable ROTATE capability.
