Advanced Operation

When you hear a call-waiting tone
while talking, the second caller’s
information is displayed. Press

(FLASH/CALL!WAIT/VOICE!MAIL)

•

The option menu is displayed.

Enter a displayed option number
(1 to 6) to select the desired option.

The length of the call is displayed.

Display

Signification

Ans

(Answer)

Answers the second call while keeping the first call on
hold.

Hold

Plays the pre-recorded hold message for the second
caller and the second call is put on hold.

Annc

Plays the pre-recorded busy message for the second

(Announcement) caller (Example: “We are not available now”)

and then hangs up the second call.

Fwd

(Forward)

Forwards the second call to your voice mail if you
subscribe to a voice mail service (p. 42).

Drop

Hangs up the current call and answers the waiting
call.

Conf

Answers the second call and combines it with the first

(Conference)

call to make a conference call.

During a conference call,

you can choose either

“

Drop caller1

” or “

Drop caller2

” to hang up the

first or second call.

Return

Returns to the waiting caller, while keeping the
current call on hold.

You can choose from the options on the display as shown below.
