Denying other people the possibility of retrieving calls held at your extension
(Exclusive Call Hold)
To place a call on Exclusive Hold
To retrieve a call
The call placed on Exclusive Hold can only be retrieved from the extension on
which the call is held.
•
If you hear an alert tone while placing a call on exclusive hold, your exclusively held call will
turn into a regularly held call.
•
The CO, INTERCOM, PDN or SDN button light shows the current status as follows:
Flashing green moderately: Your exclusively held call
Flashing red/green slowly: A held call
•
The number of calls that can be placed on exclusive hold at an extension.
This varies depending on a type of telephone as follows:
Intercom call
–<ICM type PT>: One
–<DN type PT>: as many intercom calls as the number of DN (PDN, SDN) buttons on it.
–<SLT>: Not available.
Outside call
–<ICM type PT>: as many outside calls as the number of CO buttons on it.
–<DN type PT>: as many outside calls as the number of CO buttons and DN buttons on it.
–<SLT>: Not available.
