To clear media jams in location C:
1
Open the printer’s front door.

SAFETY CAUTION:
•
The fuser is hot; to avoid personal injury, turn off the printer and
wait 10 minutes (after opening the printer’s front door) for the
fuser to cool before touching it.

Check whether the media is jammed under the color
imaging unit.
•
If the media is jammed,
remove it by following the steps 1 to 4 in
“To clear media jams in location B with media tray” on
and then go to the next step.
•
If it isn’t, go to the next step.

Turn the small green thumbscrew counterclockwise to
unlock the fuser.
