3.2 Connecting the PC
Web Maintenance Console serves as an overall system programming tool for the PBX. The Web Maintenance
Console’s Easy Setup Wizard lets you easily configure the PBX to apply installation settings to enable
communication on an IP network.
To programme the PBX, connect it to the PC via the MNT port or LAN port.
When connecting the PBX via a Virtual Private Network or the Internet, refer to "5.2 PC Connection" in the
Installation Manual.

Notice
When connecting the PC to the MNT port, if the PC is set to obtain the IP address automatically, the IP
address of the PC will be set to an appropriate IP address to establish a connection to the PBX.
Note
Use an Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector to connect a PC to the PBX.
