If you wish to record higher quality sound and maintain realism even when zooming in, for
instance, when recording a music recital, we recommend setting [MIC SETUP] to [SURROUND].

[MIC SETUP] will become [STEREO MIC] when the [REC FORMAT] is set to [MP4/iFrame].

When [Directional] in [Customize] in [Sound Scene Select] is set to [MONO], [SURROUND] and
[STEREO MIC] cannot be set. (If you set [MONO], [SURROUND] and [STEREO MIC] will be
switched to [ZOOM MIC])
When recording, the input level from the built-in microphones and the external microphone terminal
can be adjusted.

The sound will be recorded in stereo (2ch) when [5.1ch/2ch] is set to [2ch] or an external
