4.2.
Procedure of very weak electric current testing (Driving block)
4.2.1.
Measure by the tester available for mA or
µ
A.
1. Set the range at mA or
µ
A.
2. Turn the switch ON without attaching the brush.
3. Touch the (-) terminal of tester with the driving shaft where connecting the brush and the (+) terminal of tester with the metal
terminal A.
4. Measure if the electric current is in between 0.04-0.12mA (40-120
µ
A) with NORMAL mode. And confirm if the ion lamp may
glow. It may be the failure if either the current value is out of range or no lit of ion panel.
NOTE:
• Measure more than three seconds later after switching ON.
• Confirm if the mode is selected NORMAL.
• Carefully touch the metal terminal A in order to prevent the deformation.
4.2.2.
Measure with the DC volt tester.
1. Turn the switch ON without attaching the brush.
2. Touch the (-) terminal of tester with the driving shaft where connecting the brush and the (+) terminal of tester with the metal
terminal A.
3. Measure if the direct current voltage is in between 10-30V with NORMAL mode.
NOTE:
• Measure more than three seconds later after switching ON.
• Confirm if the mode is selected NORMAL.
• Carefully touch the metal terminal A in order to prevent the deformation.
