Can the appliance be
used by men?
Men can use the appliance apart
from on the beard, but because
generally men have more and
thicker body hair than women,
the stimulation of the skin may be
stronger.
Dirt on the light guide
cannot be removed.
If the dirt cannot be removed even
after cleaning, contact the store
where you purchased the unit or a
service centre authorized by
Panasonic for repair.

Problem Action
The flash window does
not flash.
Check that the level indication
lamp (blue) has changed from
blinking to glowing.
Press the flash switch
perpendicularly against the skin
until it flashes. (See page 17.)
If 10 continuous flashes have
been emitted, temporarily move
the appliance away from the skin.
The flash preparation
time is long.
The flash preparation time may
become longer to prevent the
main body from overheating.
The power turned off
after all lamps blinked
and the appliance
beeped twice. The appliance may not operate in
an ambient temperature
approximately 5 °C or lower.

The power turned off
during use.
For safety reasons, the power will
turn off automatically if the
appliance is not used for
approximately 1 minute after the
power is turned on.
Turn the power on again.
The appliance can only
be used a few times after
charging.
