Selecting digital output
Select the digital output to be output from the optical or coaxial digital
audio output terminal of the player.

Select whether to output audio on DVD recorded in 96 kHz
linear PCM as is (No) or to convert it to 48 kHz for output
(Yes).

Dolby Digital
To select the signal format (Bitstream or PCM) to be output
from the optical digital or coaxial audio output terminal
during playback of DVDs recorded in Dolby Digital.

DTS Digital Surround
To select the signal format (PCM or Bitstream) to be output
from the optical digital or coaxial audio output terminal
during playback of DVDs recorded in DTS Digital
Surround.

MPEG
To select the signal format (PCM or Bitstream) to be output
from the optical digital or coaxial audio output terminal
during playback of the DVD recorded in MPEG audio.

No digital audio is output during playback of DVDs
recorded in 96 kHz linear PCM.

setting.

Audio will be output using the original audio recording
system if the DVD has not been copyright-protected.
