hile the unit is off, press and hold [
] and [INPUT SELECT] on the
main unit at the same time for about 5 seconds. (Ejection may take extra
time depending on discs.) The disc may be defecti

e. Try another disc.

Startup is slow.
Startup takes time in the following situations:

A disc other than a DVD-RAM is inserted.

The clock is not set.

hen the unit is connected with an HDMI cable.

Cannot set “24p Output for DVD-
Video”.
Only when the unit is connected to the HDMI terminal of a TV supporting
24p, you can set “24p Output for DVD-Video”. In some cases where the unit
is connected to a TV
v
ia an amplifier/recei
v
er through the HDMI terminals,
you may not be able to set it. In this case, connect the unit to a TV through
the HDMI terminal and connect it to the amplifier/recei
v
er through any
terminal other than HDMI.
