If the audio output of the other device is mono, connect it to the L/MONO socket.
Both the left and the right channels will be recorded if the connection is made via
the L/MONO socket.

The DVD Recorder cannot be controlled by the connected DV unit.
The DV input of this unit is only intended for DV units. A computer e.g. cannot be connected.
Some DV units do not allow for proper input of the picture and sound signal.
