Timer recording
To use TV Guide system
Refer to “Using TV Guide system”. (

To cancel a timer recording on the TV Guide
screen
Select the programme in the TV Guide, then
press the red button. If on-screen instructions are
displayed, follow them.
( “[R]” icon or “[S]” icon in the TV Guide
disappears.)
If “Overlapped Timer Recording” screen
appears
You can eliminate the overlapping or may change
with repeat event for the duplicated programme.
1 Select “Change”, then press [OK].
2 Follow the on-screen instructions.

• Some broadcasters may not send programme information.
When programme information is not displayed correctly,
use manual timer recording. (

• The receipt of the TV Guide data via Set Top Box is not
possible.
• When timer recording from the external equipment, use
manual timer recording. (

• If the same episode has already been set for series timer
recording at a different time or on another channel (Repeat
programmes), “Series Timer Rec.” will not be selectable.
• Timer recording using the TV Guide system will start
3 minutes before the set time and will also end 5 minutes
after the set time. Those settings can be changed in “Timer
Record Start Buffer” and “Timer Record Stop Buffer”.

• Titles recorded using “Series Timer Rec.” are bundled and
displayed as a “group” in the DIRECT NAVIGATOR screen
(

• The series recording will be cancelled if there has been no
episode of the series for 13 weeks.
• This operation will only record to built-in HDD.
• This unit can record two programmes being
broadcasted at the same time.

displays of the TV Guide system are current
as of February 2013, but are subject to
change. If a different screen is displayed,
follow the on-screen instructions.
Preparation
If you want to change the recording mode:
Press [REC MODE] and select the recording
mode, then press [OK].

TV Guide screen appears.

Select the programme, then press the
red button.

The timer programme is stored and “[R]”
icon (Single timer recording) or “[S]” icon
