Recording to and playing back from a memory card
(continued)
4.
Start and stop recording by clicking the [Rec]
button and [Stop] button of the “SD Card
Operation” item.
●
When recording starts, the SD access lamp on the top
right of the screen is displayed in red.
●
When the SD access lamp is displayed red, recording
is not possible because the SD card is being accessed.
●
If you set “Record tally” to “On”, the tally lamp will be lit
during recording. (“Record tally” on page 69)
●
Recording is performed from the starting to stopping
of shooting. However, the maximum recording duration
is up to 8 hours. If recording exceeds 8 hours, the
unit pauses recording and then resumes recording
automatically.
●
The minimum recording duration is approximately
2.5 seconds.
●
The following operations are not possible during
recording.
-
Menu operation on the web screen
-
Display of the OSD menu
-
Switching of shooting mode (Scene)
-
Switching to web setup screen [Setup]
●
If the web screen is updated during recording, display
becomes the Other menu of the Live screen.
●
When the unit records to a microSDHC memory card, it
usually splits the recording into 4 GB files.
However, if the bit rate in the “Recording format”
item is set to a small value, the file will be split even
when recording continues for a 30-minute period or
120-minute period. The file will also be split if its size
reaches 48 GB.
●
The maximum number of video files that can be
recorded to one SD card is approximately 89100. Also,
the maximum number of folders is approximately 900.
Setting the format for the video to be
recorded
Set the size, frame rate, and bit rate of the video to be
recorded to an SD card.
1.
