HOW TO DISASSEMBLE EACH PARTS
(1) When performing maintenance and/or servicing the water heater, before disassembling, always turn
off the electric power, gas shutoff valve and water shutoff valve. Wait for the water heater to
become cool. Be careful to avoid injury to your fingers.
(2) Drain all water from the water heater when disassemble the water parts.
(3) Before any disassembly, make sure what the problem is. Disassemble only the parts needed.
(4) Handle all parts carefully.
(5) When reassembling, take caution for any alien substance, i.e. dust, etc.
(6) After reassembling, check for gas and water leakage. Then, test ignition. Make sure that there is
no gas leakage in connections by testing with bubble solution. Bubbles indicates a gas leak that
must be corrected.
(7) Check the performance, capacity and operation after servicing.

Assy. (#723):
Burner Control Assembly (#723) Removal:
1. Pull out all wirings that are connected to
the burner control assembly.
2. Remove one (1) FT screw that holds the
burner control assembly.
3. Remove burner control assembly.
[2] How To Remove Main Burner
(#112,113,114):
(1) Front Plate (#730) Removal:
1. Remove two (2) FT screws for the igniter
assy. (#123) that is fixed to the front plate
(#730) and the, remove igniter assy. (#123).
2. Remove eleven (11) FT screws that hold
burner pipe A (#138), burner pipe B (#141)
and burner pipe C (#140) and then,
remove them.
3. Remove sixteen (16) FT screws that hold
the front plate (#730). (One screw is also
used for grounding wire.)
4. Remove front plate (#730).
