1. Error Code [82] (Gas Type Control Data Failure) is displayed.
Pull out the power cord or
turn off the electric ON/OFF
Switch.
(Make 120 VAC off.)

and install & adjust it.

WARNING: When replacing High Altitude Connector,
always turn off the electric power to water heater.
2. Error Code [14] (Over Heating) is displayed.

*2 Measure the resistance of connector .
Between both White wires: 50 ~ 500 k ohm
WARNING: If the Over Heat Limiter operated, check the reason
why and correct the problem.

have a proper High
Altitude Connector?

Warning: When installing the High Altitude or Sea Level
Connector, follow the instruction of High Altitude or Sea Level
Connector.
A different High Altitude Connector is required for every 3,280
feet (1,000 m). The High Altitude Connector is not
interchangeable between Indoor, Outdoor and Direct Vent
models, Residential model or Commercial model, type of gas
or serial number. Check the number on the High Altitude or Sea
Level Connector. (Refer to the latest table of the Connector.)
Install & adjust the proper High Altitude
Connector according to the instruction.
