Turn heater off, disconnect gas hose, unplug and wait until heater cools down.

Please ensure you carry out daily inspection and maintenance.
Do not use heater if you believe that something is wrong.
It is recommended that your heater be serviced periodically.

Points to check:

There are no flammable materials in the vicinity of the heater.

Air filter is correctly fitted and is not dirty.

The hose is correctly connected without kinking or twisting.

There is no damage to the electric cord.

Maintenance

Always wear gloves and be careful of any sharp edges.

Do not use cleaning cloths, benzene, acid, or alkaline detergents as this could discolour the paint and

plastic components.

Outer Casing:

  Always keep the heater clean.

Use a damp soft cloth to wipe. Use mild soapy water if required to clean severe dirt.

Louvres:

Use vacuum cleaner to remove all dust and dirt.

Note:

Ensure the heater is not working before cleaning.

A white powder may form on the louvres. Wipe off with soft cloth.

Caution:

Do not exert strong pressure or force on the louvres. The louvres may break causing discolouration

or damage to the floor or carpet due to change in the direction of heat discharge.

Air Filter:

If the air filter lamp flashes, clean the air filters (small and large).

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt on the air filters.

Use mild soapy water for severe dirt and refit after drying. If the air filter is wet, the heater may not

operate correctly.

The heater must never be operated without the filter. Please refit correctly.
