Heavily scratched or
contaminated sample tubes
should be discarded.
Remove bubbles from sample
tube wall. Hold the capped tube
at an angle and rotate.
To reduce the effect of scratches
on the glass, place a drop of
silicone oil onto the
tube and wipe using the lint
free polishing cloth.
Place the sample tube in
the instrument in the same
orientation for all readings
.
