INSTALLATION SITE
4.1 General remarks
The following paragraphs provide a number of
instructions to ensure the best performance and
safe operation of the product purchased. The
following instructions are, in any event, subject
to compliance with any national, regional and
local laws and regulations in force in the country
where the product is installed.
4.2 Safety precautions
Only specialised technicians are permitted to
assemble and disassemble this appliance.
Verifying the technician's qualifications and ef-
fective skill level is advisable.
In Italy, technicians must be in posses-
sion of accreditation as per letter "C"
issued by the Chamber of Commerce
in accordance with Ministerial Decree
37/08.
Before beginning to assemble or disassemble the
stove, the installer must comply with the safety
precautions required by law and specifically:
• not work in adverse work conditions;
• operate in perfect mental and physical con-
dition and make sure that individual and
personal protection equipment is intact and
fully functional;
• wear safety gloves and shoes;
• make sure that the area affected by assembly
and disassembly tasks is free from obstacles.
4.3 Installation site
Refer to the product booklet that came with the
appliance to know the minimum distances (in
cm) that must be maintained when position-
ing the product near flammable materials and
objects.
Floors made of flammable materials such as
wood, parquet, linoleum or laminate, or covered
with carpets, must be protected by a fireproof
base placed under the appliance. The base must
also protect the area in front of the stove against
the possible fall of combustion residue when
cleaning.
The manufacturer declines any and all liability for
changes to the properties of flooring materials
located under the protective base.
Leave enough room on the hydraulic system side
to ensure that it is accessible for any technical
maintenance. This specific space must be large
enough to ensure full access to the hydraulic
system, the open expansion vessel and the fume
inspection compartment.
Remember to comply with the minimum dis-
tance from flammable materials specified on the
identification plate of the fume stack pipes.
