Cleaning
To avoid warping, never place a hot
pan under cold water. Allow pan to cool
prior to cleaning.
Wash pans thoroughly after each use.
Hand wash with mild dish soap and
warm water using a soft cloth or sponge.
To remove burned and dried-on food
from the stainless steel interior of the
cookware, boil a mixture of water and
vinegar, then clean with mild dish soap
and warm water.
Do not
use oven cleaners, steel wool,
steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, or
detergents containing chlorine bleach.
Over time, copper will oxidize and take
on a darker, reddish tone. This is perfectly
normal and commonly desirable among
copper cookware users. However, if at
any point, you would like to restore your
copper cookware to its original sheen,
there are numerous products available
that are specifically designed for cleaning
copper cookware that are fast, easy and
effective.
You may also use this simple DIY solution
to maintain and restore your cookware:
1.
Wash the copper exterior with mild dish
soap and warm water.
2.
Create a mixture of vinegar and table
salt. Dissolve 4 tbsp (71 mL) of salt in
1/3 cup (100 mL) of vinegar.
3.
Dampen a soft cloth in the salt and
vinegar mixture, then gently rub it on
the exterior of your cookware.
4.
Rinse the cookware with warm water.
5.
Clean with mild dish soap and
warm water.
6.
Dry thoroughly.
Dishwasher Use
This cookware is
NOT
dishwasher safe.
Washing them in the dishwasher will void
your entire warranty.
Other Useful Reminders
To avoid pans being knocked off the
stovetop, make sure handles do not
stick out past the edge of stovetop. To
ensure that the handles stay cool,
do
not
let handles extend over a hot burner
or open flame. Although they are heat
resistant, stainless steel handles and lids
may get hot depending on the type and
length of cooking. For safety reasons,
we recommend using pot holders.
Periodically check handles and lid
handles to ensure that they are not loose.
