Disable
-> No filtering. Any device
with the knowledge of WiFi’s access
credentials can connect to the modem’s
WiFi.
Whitelist
-> Only listed devices can
connect to the modem’s WiFi.
Blacklist
-> Listed devices cannot
connect to the modem’s WiFi. Other
devices can connect to the modem’s
WiFi.
MAC
MAC address of the device’s NIC that
is to be whitelisted or blacklisted.
MAC address character format is
“xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx” where x is a value
either between 0 ~ 9 or between a ~ f
(case insensitive).
Please refer to specific device
manufacturer’s resource to identify the
MAC address of NIC.
WiFi Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues on connecting to the modem’s WiFi, please attempt the steps
below:
Description
Suggested Solution
Your device is not
able to detect the
modem’s WiFi
SSID.
Check whether the modem is switched on and the
“WiFi” LED is lit.
Check whether your device has its WiFi function
turned on.
In WiFi 5GHz case, you’ll have to check the device
support for this feature.
