Ember Material and Front Bottom Coal Placement

Grate Replacement
EMBER MATERIAL INSTALLATION
Two different types of ember material are supplied
with this fireplace,
Platinum Bright Embers
and
Glowing Embers
. The
Platinum Bright Embers
should be fluffed up before placing them on the
burner. Remove the grate by removing four attach-
ment screws shown in Figure #23. Place the
Platinum Bright Embers
adjacent to the burner
ports, creating a channel as shown below.
Place the Glowing Embers randomly on the burner
area away from the burner ports. This will produce
the best results. Save the remaining ember mate-
rial for use during fireplace servicing.
After placing the ember material, replace the grate
and fasten it in place with the four screws.
