Wall Termination Venting
To connect the Dura-Vent GS venting system to the Estate Fireplace
flue outlet, an Estate Pipe Adaptor is required.
A minimum 6" vertical length must be installed before the first 90°
elbow. With this minimum vertical rise, a maximum horizontal run of
18" is permitted. For longer horizontal runs, the vertical rise must also
increase. The rise and run must be constrained to the boundries of
the chart shown in figure #1.
A horizontal run of vent must have a 1/4" rise for every 2 ft.of run
towards the termination.
Roof Termination Venting
To connect the Dura-Vent GS venting system to the Estate Fireplace
flue outlet, an Estate Pipe Adaptor is required.
A minimum 4' vertical length must be installed before the termination
cap or the first 90° elbow. The total vent length must not exceed 40'.
Any combination of rise and run may be used but must be constrained
to the boundries of the chart shown in figure #2.
A horizontal run of vent must have a 1/4" rise for every 2 ft.of run
towards the termination.
