Assembly, installation and commissioning
Mounting and setting up the mower:
Assemble the mower as shown in the series of pictures below. If in doubt, refer to the
exploded-view drawing in the spare-parts catalogue.
Tighten all bolts and screws on the mower, even the components that were attached
at the factory.
Thoroughly lubricate the mower’s grease nipples.
Tighten the mower, including components attached at the factory such as the flail
rotor’s bearing case.
Remember to fill up the gearbox with gear oil. The gearbox holds 1 litre of 80W-
90 gear oil.
Dismount the vent/fill plug (A) and level
plug (B).
Fill the gearbox with oil until it reaches
the level plug. (1 litre of 80W-90 gear oil).
Reattach both plugs.
(C) is the drain plug. Use this for oil
changes.
Attach the mounting-fork bracket (D) to
the U bracket for the three-point linkage.
Attach the mounting-fork bracket to the
U bracket for the tractor’s right lifting
arm.
The mounting-fork bracket makes it
possible for the flail mower to tilt up for
obstacles and tilt back on its own.
