Protecting the electrical circuit
The indirect air heater is equipped with a fuse (5 amp) mounted on the circuit board
that protects the components from damage. If the indirect air heater is not working, it
is a good idea to check this fuse and replace it if necessary.
Flame sensor
The flame sensor is a photocell that registers the flame and stops combustion if the
flame goes out.
Ventilation
WARNING
Risk of air pollution – only use the indirect air heater in well ventilated
areas.
Ensure a sufficient supply of fresh air – if using more than one indirect air heater,
there must be an extra air supply.
How to start the indirect air heater
1.
Fill the tank with diesel oil.
2.
Replace the fuel cap.
3.
Plug the cable into a three-pin power outlet with an earth connection.
4.
Set the thermostat to the desired setting and switch ON. The indicator light will light up
and the indirect air heater will start.
If the indirect air heater does not start, it may be because the thermostat temperature
is set too low – set it to a higher temperature. If it still does not start, try turning the
power off and on again. Also check the fuse on the circuit board and that the voltage
is correct. See the section Fault codes on page 25.
