Personal safety:
•
Stay alert, focused, and always use common sense when using power tools. Do not operate
the power tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating a power tool may result in serious personal injury.
•
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep long hair, clothing, and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can get caught in moving parts.
•
Avoid accidental starting. Make sure the switch is switched off before plugging in. Plugging
in a tool with the switch ON can lead to accidents.
•
Wear safety equipment such as eye protection, dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat,
and hearing protection appropriate for the conditions.
Use and care of the machine
•
Do not use the machine if the on/off switch does not work. A machine that cannot
be controlled with the switch, is dangerous and must be repaired.
•
Unplug the machine before adjusting, changing accessories, or storing the machine. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting the machine.
•
Keep the machine out of the reach of children and other untrained persons. The machine is
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
•
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other
condition that may affect the tool's operation. If damaged, have the tool serviced before
using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
•
Only use accessories that are recommended for the machine. Accessories that are suitable for one
machine can be dangerous when used on another machine.
•
Keep handles dry and clean, free from oil and grease. Gives better control over the tool.
