Battery-/Energymonitor
Terminals 5, 7, 9 and 10 have battery monitors
to prevent deep discharge which will damage
the batteries (also frost protection). Terminal
10 are shut off at 22.5V (Maxi XL 19V), while
others are shut off at 21 V. All terminal open
again when charging commences and the
voltage exceeds 23.5V.

If P-LIGHT® is inactive for 96 hours, the
terminal are closed and they open again
when the parking lights come on again via
P-LIGHT® (pushbutton 1) or the truck.
Programmable switching
Alternative 1
Midi: Jumper between terminals 23 & 24 for
at least 20 seconds.
Maxi: Hold down pushbutton 2 (the top
one) for at least 20 seconds. A message then
appears in the display, if you want to change,
repeat the procedure.
AUT ON = ALWAYS switches on P-LIGHT®
outputs 5 and 7 when the truck is switched
off or disconnected.
AUT OFF = NEVER switches on P-LIGHT®
outputs 5 and 7 when the truck is switched
off or disconnected (Factory setting on
delivery)
Alternative 2
Execute the sequence “off-on-off-on” within
10 seconds with the truck’s lighting to
automatically activate terminals 5 and 7 if
you disconnect/switch off the truck within 2
minutes.
This alternative means that you can always
make your own decision on when P-LIGHT®
should be switched on.
Resettable circuit breaker function
If any of the circuit breakers trip, this is
shown on the display (on the electronics box)
by an alternating message of “Err” and “F x”,
where “x” is the tripped fuse ID. If the truck is
disconnected, the fuse fault is only displayed
for 30 seconds after pressing the button, to
save the battery. If the truck is connected,
the message is displayed continuously.
NOTE: If a resettable circuit breaker trips, the
supply must be disconnected (for 15-60 sec)
in order for the breaker to reset. If the trip-
out has been caused by a short-circuit bulb,
this must also be rectified.
Terminal 5, 7, 9 and 10 have built-in
automatic fuses, total simultaneous max.

If, for some reason it is necessary to bypass
the P-LIGHT® electronics box, the wires
between “4” and “5”, and “6” and “7” must
be connected together.
