MEASURES BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING! OZONE IS HIGHLY TOXIC AND STRONGLY OXIDATIVE. IT MAY
REACT TO A NUMBER OF SUBSTANCES AND OXIDIZE THEM. INCREASED
OZONE CONCENTRATION MAY CAUSE A HEALTH HAZARD.
Requirements for safe operation:
▪
The generator may only be used in dry rooms.
▪
It must be ensured that the ozone cannot escape the treated area in large amounts.
▪
All humans, animals and plants MUST BE REMOVED from the treated area during
treatment, since high ozone concentration causes major health damage!
▪
It must not be used near oil products, solvents and flammable liquids.
▪
Ozone cannot be used to neutralize smells from flammable liquids and solvents.
▪
Do not use it in freshly painted rooms, as ozone may react to chemicals in the paint.
The device may only be first used if the above requirements are met. If the above requirements are
met, the device may be first used as follows:

FIRST USE
Ozone generators can be used to clean and disinfect the air in rooms with no humans, animals and
plants in them. The device can be set with the timer to operate for a period of between 15 minutes
and eight hours. After the set period, the device stops. Please do not enter the room for one hour
after the device has stopped operating. During this time, ozone breaks down and becomes harmless
oxygen.
Operating the device:
1.
Position the ozone generator on a flat, stable surface in the middle of the room. Since ozone
is heavier than air, it is worth placing the device as high as possible.
2.
Connect the power cable to the ozone generator and then plug it into the grounded outlet.
3.
Turn the on/off switch (4) to the upper position (ON).
No display appears on the machine at this point, but the device is connected to a power supply. The
same switch can be used at any point to turn the power off immediately. The program setting is then
also cancelled.
4.
The ozone level required can be set with the ozone output selection switches (5 and 6)
10G/h: the left switch (5) in the upper position and the right switch (6) in the lower position.
20G/h: the right switch (6) in the upper position and the left switch (5) in the lower position.
30G/h: both switches in the upper position.
If both switches remain in the lower position, the device will emit no ozone and simply operate as a
fan.
