2. LINE SPOOL
Removing and Fitting the Line Spool
1. To remove, turn the line spool until you can see the
hole in the carrier plate at the housing recess and
insert the supplied 5mm hex key. While holding the
hex key, turn the line spool clockwise (left-hand
thread) to remove.
2. To fit the line spool the carrier plate must be fitted
over the spindle as this provides the ability to lock
the spindle from turning when fitting or removing
the line spool.
3. Align the hole in the carrier plate with the housing
recess and insert the supplied 5mm hex key. While
holding the hex key, screw the line spool onto the spindle thread, turning counter-
clockwise (left-hand thread) until tight. Remove the hex key.
WARNING!
ENSURE THE TOOL IS OFF AND THE BATTERIES REMOVED
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS.

DO NOT OPERATE THE LINE TRIMMER ATTACHMENT
WITHOUT THE SAFETY GUARD FITTED.
