CHAMFER
Cuts a 45-degree
angle on a square
edge.
COVE BIT
Used to create a
concave, rounded
edge to a piece of
timber. Often used
in conjunction with a
roundover bit.
ROUNd OVER BIT
Creates a rounded edge
on a piece.
STRAIGHT BITS
Straight router bits a ideal
for making plunge cuts into
a material to form a groove
or to hollow out an area for
a mortise or inlay.
