TROUBLESHOOTING

The Depth Adjustment Locking Knob Will Not 

Tighten

The guide wheel cutting arm may not be located correctly in 1 of the 3 

preset cutting depths. Move the guide wheel cutting arm up or down into a 

preset location and then tighten the depth adjustment locking knob.

The Edger Will Not Start

• 

Ensure the edger is connected to a sufficient power supply.

• 

Ensure that the lock-off switch is fully pressed down and then

 

squeeze 

the trigger to start the lawn edger.

MAINTENANCE

•    Keep the ventilation vents of the tool clean at all times, if possible, 

prevent foreign matter from entering the vents.

•    After each use, blow air through the motor housing to ensure it is 

free from all dust particles which may build up. Build up of dust 

particles may cause the unit to overheat and fail.

•   If the enclosure of the tool requires cleaning do not use solvents 

but a moist soft cloth or soft brush only. Never let any liquid get 

inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid.

NOTE:

 Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or 

injuries caused by the repair of the tool by an unauthorised person or 

by mishandling of the tool.

2.   Turn the small spanner 

clockwise and remove the 

nut, outer flange and blade.

Note:

 Ensure the nut and outer 

flange are clean of any dirt or 

grass prior to fitting.

4.   Fit the nut and tighten firmly 

in an anti-clockwise direction 

using the 2 supplied 

spanners.

1.   Lay the edger on 

its side and place 

the large supplied 

spanner over the 

outer blade flange 

and the small 

spanner on the nut.

3.   Fit the new blade 

over the inner flange, 

then the outer 

flange, ensuring they 

are located correctly 

and in the correct 

direction.
