OPERATION
3. Start the edger and allow the
blade to reach full speed.
5. Walk forward slowly, keeping
the blade pressed lightly
against the edge to be cut.
Note:
If the edger begins to slow down due to a build up of
grass in the blade guard, walk back slightly to allow the grass
to fall out and let the cutting blade to return to normal speed
before continuing forward.
2. To start the edger, press
and hold the lock-off switch
(1), then squeeze the
trigger (2) to start the lawn
edger.
1. To stop the edger, simply
release the trigger.
For your safety the edger is designed with a lock-off switch. If
only the On/Off trigger is squeezed, the edger will not operate.
This prevents accidental start up of the edger.
1. Before starting, line the
edger cutting blade with
the edge to be cut. Use the
arrows on the blade guard to
assist in guiding you where
the cutting blade will cut.
3. Once started, release the
lock-off switch and hold
down trigger to maintain
power.
2. Tilt the handle down
so the cutting blade
is sufficiently above
the ground before
starting.
4. Slowly raise the
handle to lower the
cutting blade within
the edge to be cut.
