• Change the aluminum foil on the grease drain pan.
• Clean grease from the v-shaped grease drain and grease drain tube.
• wipe grease off the interior surfaces of the grill.
• Empty the grease bucket and line with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Use warm soapy water to clean the outside grill surfaces and to cut the grease. Do not
use oven cleaner, abrasive cleansers or abrasive cleaning pads.
During the rainy season, take care that water does not get into the pellet hopper. When
wet, wood pellets expand and will jam your auger. Consider getting a grill cover to
protect your grill when it is stored.
Periodically remove the porcelain grill, grease drain pan and heat baffle to clean ash
around the firepot. A shop-vac is useful when doing this. Make sure the grill is cool.
After removing food from the porcelain grill, brush it with a long-handled cleaning brush.
