6.2 Image quality
Symptom
Cause / Solution
Images are too light, for example:
•
Readjust the “
luminosity
” parameter in the “
properties
”
tab of the camera video window’s source menu.
Images lack contrast, for example:
•
Readjust the “
contrast
” parameter in the “
properties
” tab
of the camera video window’s source menu.
Images are pale, for example:
•
Readjust the “s
aturation
” parameter in the “
properties
”
tab of the camera video window’s source menu.
•
You can also adjust the “
tone
” parameter to strengthen
certain colours in particular in relation to others.
Image is blurred.
Retake the image:
•
The patient or the operator moved during exposure.
•
The positioning of the camera in relation to the subject you
want to capture is located outside the field of sharpness.
•
Readjust the “
sharpness
” parameter in the “
properties
”
tab of the camera video window’s source menu.
•
Check that the hygienic cover has not been installed the
wrong way round on the head of the endoscope: refer to
chap. 4.3.1.
