7.5.2 Transportation
INFORMATION
Observe the product's dimensions and weights in the
chapter "Technical Data" for transportation.
To transport the ScoutCrawler, the wheelchair is separated
from the outdoor vehicle, the packing size of the outdoor
vehicle is reduced and it is stowed in the vehicle. The wheel
chair can also be prepared for transportation and stowed
(fold if applicable) as described in the wheelchair instruc
tions for use.
7.5.2.1 Separating the ScoutCrawler and Wheelchair

Lean your upper body forward when driving on the
ramps.
To separate the manual wheelchair from the ScoutCrawler,
complete the following steps:
1) Park the outdoor vehicle on a flat surface.
2) Turn off the control unit of the outdoor vehicle.
3) Loosen the loading ramp pull cables and fold down the
loading ramps.
4) Disengage the three carabiners from the eyelets.
5) Pull the two lateral belt straps out through the push
rings of the manual wheelchair.
6) Loosen the centre belt strap from the frame of the manu
al wheelchair.
7) Drive the wheelchair backwards down the loading
ramps.
7.5.2.2 Reducing the Packing Size
1) Loosen the two Allen head screws on the front (see
Fig. 20, item 1) and outside (see Fig. 20, item 2) of the
armrest supports.
2) Remove the armrests with supports (see Fig. 21).
3) Fold the loading ramps down onto the platform (see
Fig. 22).
4) Load the armrests with supports onto the outdoor
vehicle.
