When lowering the Hubfix you can alternatively use your palm to hold the release knob and press the release
button (Figure 29).
Lifting:
Put the fingers of one hand around the release knob. (Figure 30).
Hold onto the frame of the firmly attached bathing seat with the other hand.
Press the release button with your thumb and pull the bathing seat up assisted by the hydraulic spring.
Caution - Risk of injury:
When raising or lowering it, do not touch any part of the device that you have not been directed to in
these instructions. It is particularly important that you do not touch the folding mechanism. Keep an
eye on the person in the bathing seat!
15 Removing it from the bathtub

First remove the bathing seat and drain the water from the bath.
Lift the 'foot end' of the bath lift, holding onto the movable panel, until the bath lift is about 40 degrees from
horizontal. The suction cups will free themselves and then you can lift the bath lift out of the tub (Figure 31).
Put the bath lift on the floor of the bathroom and lower the bath lift until the 'wings' touch the ground (Figure 32).
