Wings: (C) The wings are fixed to the left and right sides of the main cover panel and prevent accidental contact
with the folding mechanism.
Head end: (F) In a standard bathtub it is usual to have the head of the person to be bathed at this flatter end of
the tub. On the HUBFIX bath lift this is the end with the big suction cups opposite the hydraulic spring.
Feet end: (G) In a standard bathtub this is the deepest part where the drain is located. On the HUBFIX bath lift
this is the end with the small rubber feet and the hydraulic spring fastener.
7 Unpacking and preparing for use
As delivered, the Hubfix comes with the following components:
- bath lift with preset release knob
- clamps and fittings to fix the Robby and Flipper bathing seats in place
- size 4 hex screwdriver for installing the clamps and for adjusting the length of the cover
- the Owner's Manual
Remove the packaging and undo the shipping locks.
Put the HUBFIX bath lift on a flat work surface and install the clamps for the bathing seat.

The HUBFIX bath lift is supplied with the clamps illustrated here to fix the Robby and Flipper bathing seats
(Figure 3).
The clamps are fixed in different positions at the 'head end' with a spacer and long screws depending on the
model (as marked).
If you are using the Robby or size 2 Flipper bathing seats please affix the clamps to the movable panels through
the outermost holes without using a spacer (Figure 4).
