Adjustments and adaptation options

The commonly used clamping levers can be slightly pulled away from the screw and be moved off-load; this way
they can be turned into a more convenient operating position.

Adjusting the angle of the

Locking pin with ”quick release” (1/B)

abdominal leaning support

Foot-operated actuating lever for gas strut (1/C)

Caution:  For angle adjustments hold patient and appliance firmly, depress foot-operated actuator, set
appliance to desired angle and release actuator. After each adjustment, secure the foot-operated actuator
with the locking pin to prevent accidental actuation.

Adjusting the length of the body support

Chest pad I (2/F)

by sliding the chest pads

Chest pad II (2/G), (4/A)

Spreading the legs

Release lever (2/C), (5/A)
Locking lever (5/B)

Caution:  For angle adjustments hold patient and appliance firmly, pull locking lever and press release
lever, manually set the lever arm (5/C) to desired angle and let go of the release lever.

Back belt

Hook-and-loop fastener (4/C)
Height adjustment (4/B)

Caution:  Always secure the patient first with the back belt.

Caution - Danger of injury:
During tilting and pivoting keep hands away from any parts other than those described, particularly from
the folding mechanisms.

Knee pads

Depth adjustment (6/B)
Height adjustment (6/C)

Hook-and-loop strap fastener (6/D)

Footrests

Caution:  To guarantee the stability of the appliance, always ensure that all four wheel locks are closed.

Accessories

Trained technicians must install any accessories that were not installed by the manufacturer.

Hip pads can be installed at two heights
Height adjustment and/or angle adjustment (2/E) + (2/D)
Width adjustment (2/E)

Thorax pads
The thorax pads can be installed either at chest pad I ( see figure 2 ) or at chest pad II.
