2) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
3) Place three layers of carbon fibre cloth (e.g.
15 cm x 15 cm
) in an
offset arrangement on the distal end of the model.
4) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
5)
CAUTION! Do not bend the anchor arms of the lamination
anchor.
Move the lamination anchor arms to the correct
a-p
and
m-l
posi
tion.
6) Set the 4X3 lamination dummy onto the pyramid of the lamination
anchor.
7)
For 4R63, 4R100:
Place the 4X52 lamination dummy on the prox
imal side of the lamination anchor. The lamination dummy remains
in the prosthetic socket.
8) Place the lamination anchor at the socket end as required for
proper alignment and bring it into position. Use the marking on
the 4X3 lamination dummy to do so.
9) Stabilise and fix the lamination anchor with a sealing resin/talcum
powder mixture.
10) Pull the fibreglass roving through the holes in the anchor arms
and allow it to hang in a loop. If there are no holes, allow the
fibreglass roving to hang around the anchor arms in a loop.
11) Place three layers of carbon fibre cloth (e.g.
15 cm x 15 cm
) in an
offset arrangement over the lamination anchor arms.
12) Pull one layer of Perlon stockinette over the model.
13) Pull two layers of carbon woven stockinette over the model.
14) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model and tie off in
the groove of the lamination anchor.
15) Pull a soaked PVA bag over the model.
16) Complete the lamination process with Orthocryl lamination resin.
17) After the lamination resin has cured, remove the 4X3 lamination
dummy.

5.2 Assembling the distal prosthetic components
Connecting the pyramid adapter and pyramid receiver
The pyramid adapter is fixed with the set screws of the pyramid receiv
er.
>
Required materials:
torque wrench (e.g. 710D20), 636K13 Loc
tite 241
1)
Fitting:
Screw in the set screws.
Use the torque wrench to tighten the set screws (
10 Nm
).
2)
Definitive assembly:
Secure the set screws with Loctite.
Screw in the set screws.
Pre-tighten the set screws with the torque wrench (
10 Nm
) and
then tighten them (
15 Nm
).
3) Replace any set screws that are protruding or are recessed too
much with appropriate set screws (see selection chart).

Alignment
The set screws in the pyramid receiver can be used to make static
adjustments during alignment, trial fittings and after the prosthesis is
finished.
Replacement and disassembly
The set position of the prosthetic component can be maintained dur
ing replacement or disassembly. In order to do this, unscrew the two
set screws that are screwed in the furthest and located next to each
other.
