The instructions for use provide you with important information regarding the use of the optional 493U75=SK300
and 493U75=SK330 TEN° tray module.
Please note the following:
•
All users and/or their attendants must be trained by qualified personnel in the use of the product. In particular,
users and/or attendants must be informed of the residual risks with the aid of the safety notices in the instruc
tions for use (user).
•
The product was adapted to the needs of the user. Subsequent changes may be made only by qualified per
sonnel. We recommend checking the product settings
once per year
to ensure optimal treatment over the long
term. Especially for users with a changing anatomy (for example body dimensions, weight), an adjustment at
least
once every six months
is recommended.
•
In case of questions or problems, please consult the qualified personnel that adapted the product or the manu
facturer's service (see inside back cover or back page for addresses).
•
Your product may differ from the models shown.
•
The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical changes to the model described in these instructions for
use.
2 Product description
2.1 Function
The TEN° tray module is used for electric swivelling of the integrated TEN° control panel on the tray of a power
wheelchair.
After being triggering via an external button mounted on the tray, the TEN° tray module swings into the driving posi
tion (see fig. 1). When the external button is pushed again, the TEN° tray module swings into the tray position (see
fig. 2).
The product has the following special features:
•
Only minor space requirements for the swivel motion underneath the tray.
•
Possible positioning anywhere on the tray surface.
•
3 x 3.5mm jack socket for connection of potential-free buttons or contacts (connections for Swivel, On/Off, Pro
file/Mode: see fig. 4; examples of buttons: see fig. 5).
•
Integrated TEN° control panel with splash protection.
•
Automatic switch-off of swivel motor in case of overloading (e.g. improper interference in swivel region).
•
Automatic locking of the joystick functions when the TEN° tray module is swivelled into the tray position.

3 Intended use
The safe use of the product can only be ensured in case of intended use in accordance with the information con
tained in these instructions for use. The user is ultimately responsible for accident-free operation.
3.1 Indications for use
The TEN° tray module is intended for installation in trays on power wheelchairs. The tray module may only be used
as an option in an Ottobock power wheelchair in combination with an R-Net control device.
