3 Application
3.1 Indications for use
The system ankle joints are
exclusively
intended to be used for the patient's
orthotic fitting of the lower limbs.
In case of unilateral use, the manufacturer recommends that the system
ankle joint be processed by means of lamination resin technique or carbon
prepreg technology. When used bilaterally, there is no limitation on the pro
cessing technology used.
Use of the 17LA3=16-T or 17LA3=20-T system ankle joints in the C-Brace
orthotronic mobility system is permitted exclusively with the 17AO1 sensor
screw.
3.2 Indications
Partial or total paralysis of the leg muscles.
Indications must be determined by the physician.
